Utica, NY (WIBX) - The Sitrin Home is one step closer to completing their master plan after announcing a new alliance with Upstate Cerebral Palsy, The Kelberman Center and The Root Farm.

The partnership allows for the building of a proposed equine therapy center at Sitrin capable of housing up to 20 horses. The groups plan to have the new facility built by 2013.

Edward Kowalsky, Chairman of the Sitrin Health Care Center, expressed excitement about the partnership and the expanded offerings.

“I think these types of alliances are what you’ll see in the future, where non-profits join together and join their different abilities to bring more opportunities to the general public,” Kowalsky said.

A development campaign to raise funds for the new facility is expected to begin soon.
