Half a dozen students are now facing felony burglary charges after what appears to have been a senior prank.

Authorities say the teens, all students at Chautauqua County's Jamestown High School, threw red and green glitter in the hallways, and tied string from locker to locker from one side of the hallway to the other.

School officials were apparently not impressed by the fact that the choice of glitter reflected the school's colors.  The students involved are also facing criminal mischief and tampering charges.

WGRZ-TV is reporting that the students allegedly broke into the school early Tuesday morning through an old boiler room entrance in the back of the school.
