Sleeping NJ Girl Hit By Stray Bullet
WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a sleeping New Jersey teenager was struck by a bullet when gunfire broke out outside her home.
The 13-year-old girl from the Sicklerville section of Winslow Township was struck in the buttocks early Monday. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening. She was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
Authorities tell Philadelphia's WPVI-TV (http://6abc.cm/1lN6b1M ) that three other girls were also sleeping in the room when several shots were fired.
A woman in a home across the street was hit by flying glass after a bullet shattered her window.
No arrests have been made.
