Local Snow Emergencies, Travel Advisory In Place

Utica, NY (WIBX) – There is a Snow Emergency in effect in the city of Utica from 10:00  tonight through 10:00 Tuesdaymorning. Snow Emergencies are also in place in New Hartford, Frankfort and Oneida.

The snow emergency issued earlier today in Ilion has been lifted.

All vehicles must be off the street or they will be towed.

During the last Snow Emergency on February 25th, Utica Police issued 94 parking tickets and the DPW towed 47 vehicles.

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente has also issued a Travel Advisory, discouraging any non-essential travel today.
