Solid Waste Authority To Host Open House

Utica, NY (WIBX) – In commemoration of Earth Day, the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority will be holding an Open House on Saturday.

Recycling Director David Lupinski says the Open House will feature a dedication ceremony and tours of the Authority’s new Single Stream Recycling Center.

Other events taking place on Saturday include free shredding of confidential documents by CONFIDATA and household hazardous waste and electronics drop-offs.

The open house is taking place from 10:00 to 2:00 at the Authority’s facility on Leland Avenue in Utica.
