Sovereign Protester Shouts Anti-Obama Claims Downtown

Obama is ruing America according to protester Robert Buchholz; but, so is Bush, Clinton, Reagan and everybody back to Kennedy.

Buchholz, who was protesting in Franklin Square in Utica on November 5th, made his claims on WIBX's First News with Keeler in the Morning on Friday.  Buchholz said America is going down an illegal path and the people are blindly following a fake government.

The 20 year old from Long island who now lives with his girlfriend in Utica made many claims during his 45-minute span on Keeler.  The most outrageous: Obama and the Pope are on a crusade to kill all Christians in December of 2016.

Buchholz says he drives without a license because the government has no right to regulate his driving.  He also says he pays some taxes; but, refuses to pay the ones that are illegal.

Buchholz seems to be a member of the Sovereign movement which believes much of the government is operating illegally.

According to the Southern Poverty Center, the Sovereign Citizen movement is described as-

A strange subculture of the sovereign citizens movement, whose adherents hold truly bizarre, complex antigovernment beliefs, has been growing at a fast pace since the late 2000s. Sovereigns believe that they get to decide which laws to obey and which to ignore, and they don't think they should have to pay taxes.
