‘Special’ Kiss Gets Attention of Corrections Officers in Broome County
A "special" kiss got the attention of corrections officers at one New York jail.
Authorities say deputies witnessed a visitor passing drugs to an inmate at the Broome County Sheriff's Correctional Facility.
Kirby Spruill of Binghamton allegedly passed a glassine envelope containing heroin to an inmate, Margaret Will, while he was visiting her at the facility earlier this week. The method of delivery was a kiss.
Both Spruill and Will are being charged with promoting prison contraband. Spruill was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
