Speeding Leads To Arrest On Drug Charges For East Syracuse Man

Drinking and driving don't mix, nor do drinking and drugging.

21-Year old Garron Murray of East Syracuse was stopped for speeding in Verona.

New York State Police say they found drugs and a hypodermic needle in the car, and learned that there was an outstanding warrant for Murray's arrest for violating parole on a burglary conviction.

He was brought to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of five hundred dollars bail and is awaiting processing of the arrest warrant.
