Profession: Retired MLB Player
Best Known For: A three-time All-Star selection, Frank Tanana was a hard throwing left-handed pitcher who learned to win after an arm injury robbed him of his fastball. Tanana won 240 games during a major league career that lasted from 1973 to 1993, while he played with the California Angels, Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, New York Mets and New York Yankees. He currently ranks 21st on the all-time strikeout list with 2,773.

Moises Alou
Age: 46
Profession: Retired MLB Player
Best Known For: Moises Alou was a six-time All-Star who finished his 17-year major league career with a .303 batting average. Raised in a baseball family — his father Felipe was a player and later a manager — Alou was a consistent offensive producer while playing with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Montreal Expos, Florida Marlins, Houston Astros, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants and New York Mets from 1990 to 2008. Alou was a member of the Marlins team that won the 1997 World Series.

Neil O’Donnell
Age: 46
Profession: Retired NFL Player
Best Known For: A Pro Bowl selection in 1992, Neil O’Donnell played in the NFL for 14 seasons from 1990 to 2003. He quarterbacked the Pittsburgh Steelers to Super Bowl XXX after the 1995 season. In the game, O’Donnell threw two costly interceptions to Dallas cornerback Larry Brown that helped the Cowboys win the NFL title.

Brian Cashman
Age: 45
Profession: General Manager of the New York Yankees
Best Known For: Brian Cashman is one of the most successful baseball executives of all-time. Since becoming part of the New York Yankees’ organization in the late 1980s, Cashman has seen the team win six American League pennants and four World Series championships. He was selected as Major League Baseball Executive of the Year for 2009.

Teemu Selanne
Age: 42
Profession: NHL Player
Best Known For: A three-time NHL scoring leader and 10-time All-Star, Teemu Selanne is one of the best hockey players of the past 20 years. In his long career from 1992 to the present, Selanne has scored 663 goals and 1406 points. As a rookie with the Winnipeg Jets in 1992-93, he set the all-time rookie record for goals (76) and points (132), in the process winning the Calder Memorial Trophy as the top NHL rookie. Having also played with Anaheim, Colorado and San Jose, Selanne holds virtually every offensive record for the Anaheim franchise. He was a member of the Ducks’ team that won the Stanley Cup in 2007. A native of Finland, Selanne is the all-time points leader in Winter Olympics hockey.

Edinson Volquez
Age: 29
Profession: MLB Player
Best Known For: Once a top young starter and 2008 All-Star for the Cincinnati Reds, Edinson Volquez now pitches for the San Diego Padres. Having first started his career in the Rangers organization, Volquez was traded, along with Daniel Herrera, from Texas to Cincinnati for Josh Hamilton in 2007. After a 17-win season for the Reds in 2008, Volquez underwent Tommy John surgery in 2009 and has never been as effective a pitcher. He was traded to San Diego after the 2011 season.
