Canastota, NY (WIBX) - SportsWatch hit the road on Friday to take-in some of the festivities at the International Boxing Hall of Fame's annual induction weekend.

Ray and I spent a few hours at the IBHOF while this year's inductees dipped their hands in plaster for annual 'fist casting'. It creates a mold of some of the hardest hitting hands in the world. Among the indcutees present on Friday, the one and only, 'Iron' Mike Tyson.

Also being inducted this year are Julio Cesar Chavez, Kostya Tszyu, Ignacio 'Nacho' Beristain, referee Joe Cortez and Sylvester Stallone.

Among the other unforgettable fighters on hand, 'Irish' Micky Ward and his half-brother Dicky Eklund, who signed hundreds of autographs and posed for dozens and dozens of photos with fans.

After a long day of signing and pictures, Ward was nice enough to sit down with Ray and I for a few minutes. Take a listen to the man who inspired the film 'The Fighter', who, for three years in a row (2001-2003), was involved in fights that were named 'Fight of the Year' by The Ring magazine.
