Washington, D.C. (WIBX) - A new report by the Social Security Administration shows that nearly half of American workers are currently earning less than $26,000 a year.

The same report determined that 90% of tax filers made less than $85,000 per year.

The SSA report suggests that the wealth gap in the USA is widening, with only 1% of Americans making more than $250,000 per year.
