St Patty’s Grand Marshal Nominations Sought

Utica, NY (WIBX) – Organizers with the Utica St. Patrick’s Day Parade are seeking nominations for the 2011 Parade Grand Marshal.

Suggestions for worthy candidates should include a brief background of the nominee and detail his or her contribution to Irish causes in the Mohawk Valley.

The deadlilne nomination is December 31st.

The annual parade is conducted by the Great American Irish Festival. The Utica St. Patty’s Day Parade is one of the largest in New York.

A selection will be made in January.
