Some classic cars will be on display next month at the Stanley Theater in Utica.

The Stanley will host members of the Franklin Classic Car Club and their vehicles in the city parking lot next door on Wednesday, August 5th from 11:00 to 3:00.

The Franklin Car Club is focused on preserving the legacy of automobiles produced by the Franklin Automobile Company of Syracuse from 1902 to 1934.

Every August, members from around the world meet in Cazenovia for a weeklong event where the cars are displayed and driven throughout upstate New York.

The lot will be filled with 50 to 60 cars. Franklins from 1928 will be prominently displayed in honor of the Stanley's opening that year.
