State Police Arrest 14 In Underage Drinking Initiative

New York State Police say they have arrested 14 people after an investigation into underage drinking in Sylvan Beach.

Troopers made eleven arrests for unlawful possession of and alcoholic beverage by a person under the age of 21.

Three additional arrests were made for violations of the Village of Sylvan Beach's local ordinance prohibiting open alcohol containers.

State Police say the Underage Drinking Initiative will continue throughout the summer on the beach front in Sylvan Beach.
