State Police Arrest Man Who Stabbed State Trooper In Albany
The man who allegedly assaulted a State Trooper at the Empire State Plaza in Albany on Sunday has been caught.
Eric Green, 18, was walking near the corner of Western and Washington Avenues in Albany, when he was approached by State Police.
When questioned, Green first gave troopers a fake name, but he eventually confirmed who he was and was arrested without incident.
He is charged with Aggravated Assault and Robbery, both felonies. Additional charges may be filed.
State Police are still looking for anyone with information as to Green's whereabouts since the March 3rd assault. Those with information are asked to call (518) 474-5330.
Earlier today, WIBX reported that the New York State Troopers PBA offered a cash reward for information leading to Green's arrest.
