State Police In Herkimer Investigating Reports Of Suspicious Man

What is now being called a "suspicious incident" is being investigated by authorities in Herkimer.

On Sunday, August 18, 2013 an eight-year old girl said that the passenger in a two-door silver car with New York plates tried to get her to go into the car.  She was walking with her younger sister on McKenna Road in the Town of Herkimer, New York.  They ran home and told their parents who then called police.

They are describing the suspect as a white man of thin build, about eighteen years old with shoulder-length blonde hair.
