State Police Investigate Fatal Crash in Rome
Rome, NY (WIBX) – A Rome woman is dead following a car-pedestrian accident over the weekend. According to State Police, 88-year old Olga Lastowicka was crossing the road in front of her home to collect the mail when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The accident happened on Penny Road in the City of Rome. Mrs. Lastowicka was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead. The investigation is continuing.
