State Police Investigate Fatal Wrong Way Crash In Verona

State Police are investigating a fatal two-car crash that happened Monday night on Route 365 in Verona.

Police say 52-year old Kelly Anne Herr of Old Forge was traveling south in the northbound passing lane when she struck a car being driven by 51-year old Sunee Delorenzo of Rome head-on.

Herr was taken to a Syracuse hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Delorenzo suffered multiple leg fractures and internal injuries.  She's in stable condition at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
