State Police Investigate Homicide And Rape In Clay

A Cicero man is facing multiple charges in a homicide in the Town of Clay.

State Police say 29-year old David Renz abducted 47-year old Lori Bresnahan of Liverpool from the Great Northern Mall in Clay last night.

They say Renz bound the woman and raped her ten-year old child in their vehicle.

He then drove the victim's car a short distance, where the child was able to flee from the vehicle and get help from a passing motorist.

Bresnahan was taken to the hospital, where she died of stab wounds.

Renz was charged with two counts of murder, rape and kidnapping.
