State Police Investigate Marcy Burglary

Marcy, NY (WIBX) - State Police are investigating a burglary that happened at a home on Route 291 in Marcy.

Troopers say the homeowners arrived home at around 1:30  Tuesday afternoon and saw a car parked in the driveway with a woman in the driver's seat and a dog in the back seat.

A man who ran from the back of the residence to the car told the homeowners they were on the property looking for their dog.

Police say when the homeowners went inside, they found their flat screen TV was disconnected and jewelry had been stolen from their bedroom.

The car was a four door Chevy Impala, blue/purple in color.
