During the latest National Stop DWI campaign, New York State Police say they issued over 46,000 tickets.

During the crackdown that ran through Labor Day, State Police targeted impaired and distracted driving, speeding, move over violations and those not wearing seat belts.

More than 18,000 speeding tickets were issued including 1,900 for distracted driving, 2,600 seat belt violations and 663 DWI arrests.

During just the Labor Day weekend, State Police say they arrested 168 people for DWI.
