State Police Launch Warrant Wednesday

New York State Police are implementing a new statewide initiative using social media.

State Police have launched "Warrant Wednesday" on their Facebook page, asking for the public's help to track down people who have warrants out for their arrest.

Wanted posters will be added each Wednesday, featuring persons with arrest or bench warrants from across the state.

Police say previous wanted postings have led to the arrests of several individuals.
