State Police Raises To Be Revoked
Albany, NY (WIBX) – Governor Andrew Cuomo plans on rescinding pay raises given to top State Police officials.
An aide to Cuomo says the Governor will take away around $200,000 in salary increases that were approved last year.
Cuomo said last week that he was surprised by the raises in the face of nearly 900 state workers being laid off and that he wanted to review them in the context of the state’s budget.
