State Police Say 38-Year-Old Man Raped 13-Year-Old Girl

Lowville, NY (WIBX) - A 38-year-old man is under arrest facing rape charges. State Police in Lowville say David F. Murdock, of Natural Bridge, NY, had forcible sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl. They say the charges follow an extensive investigation conducted by its Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

Murdoch is charged with 1st Degree Rape, which is a Class B Felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor. He was taken to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility with cash bail set at $10,000,00, or $20,000.00 Bond. Officials say this case is pending further court action.
