State Police Seize Over 60 Guns From Madison County Home

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Two people are facing charges following an investigation by State Police in Madison County.

Police seized over 60 guns and a large amount of ammunition from a home in the Town of Sullivan.

55-year old Edward Atkins of Kirkville was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Dawn Moyer, 39, of Mattydale was also arrested and charged with hinderingprosecution for allegedly removing evidence from the home.

The investigation is continuing and police say additional charges are possible.
