State Police: Teen Killed By Police Left Suicide Message

Oneida, NY (WIBX) - State police say the 17-year-old from Cazenovia who was shot and killed by police last week left a suicide ‘message’.

Police say the message revealing his intent to commit suicide was found on an electronic device owned by Justin Arnold.

Arnold called police last week to report a carjacking, giving police a description of himself as the suspect and his own vehicle, according to State police.

When he was pulled over, in the town of Sullivan, Arnold exited the vehicle pointing a black pellet gun at police, police said.

He was shot several times by two officers at the scene.
