State Senator Majority Leader John Flanagan toured the Utica-Rome area on Tuesday with Senator Joseph Griffo.

Flanagan's stops included a visit to the Utica Memorial Auditorium (the "AUD").

In the wake of the guilty verdict against former Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, Flanagan says the legislature will address ethics reform in the next legislative session beginning in January.  He says state lawmakers have already enacted significant reform.

Flanagan also says he's against Governor Andrew Cuomo's proposal calling for a full- time legislature.

When asked what his top priority will be for the next legislative session, Flanagan replied, "Jobs."
