Statue Dedication Near Hudson River in Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) — A new statue is being dedicated at a park near the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie.

A ceremony will be held Saturday morning at Upper Landing Park to dedicate artist Carl Grieco's concrete relief titled "A Walk in the Clouds."

The dedication is being hosted by the organization that supports Walkway Over the Hudson, the pedestrian bridge spanning the river at Poughkeepsie.

The walkway was created from an old rail bridge and opened in 2009.
