Utica, NY (WIBX) - If you're looking for something special to decorate your Christmas tree with this year then consider the 100th Anniversary Holiday Ornament from the Stevens-Swan Humane Society. The animal shelter just received its shipment of the Centennial Year Ornaments and Jerry Kraus, Public Relations Marketing and Development Director said there are two different designs to choose from.

He said, "We came up with a white one and a green one. They're $10 each while supplies lasts. We're using them as fundraisers for the shelter. You can pick them up at the Stevens-Swan Humane Society Office." Kraus said supporters can also pick them up at Colozzi's in New Hartford and North Utica, Pet Supplies Plus in New Hartford, Cutting Edge Fitness in Whitesboro, and at Utica City Hall in the Clerk's Office.

Kraus said, "We've only done 100 of each color to tie in with the 100th Anniversary so they are in limited supply and when they're gone--they're gone. We're not going to reproduce so come on out and get them. What a nice gift to give to somebody who is a pet lover on your list and show everybody they are a supporter of the work being done by the Stevens-Swan Humane Society."

For more information contact the Shelter at their easy to remember phone number, Pet-Help or (315)738-4357. On line you can find them at www.stevens-swans.com. The Collector's Edition ornaments were designed by Mohawk Valley Community College Graphic Arts Students.
