Stewart’s in Poland Robbed Last Night
A man who said he had a gun walked into the Stewart’s in Poland, New York and allegedly demanded cash on Wednesday night.
The robbery occurred at 9:50pm on January 22, 2013 at the store located at 8 Cold Brook Street / State Route 8.
The thief, described as a 6’3″ white man of slender build was wearing a green hooded winter jacket, black ski mask, gloves, jeans, and green winter boots. A witness says he may have had facial air and green eyes.
State Police say that despite the apparent threat, no gun was ever displayed. After being given the money the man left the store on foot and is believed to have gotten into a getaway car at the intersection of States Routes 8 and 28 and headed south.
