Stolen Hummer Found In Pond

A vehicle reported stolen from a home on Route 5 in the Town of Sullivan has been recovered.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office says the 2008 Hummer was found submerged in a pond on Oxbow Road in Cicero.

They say the stolen vehicle report came on the heels of an investigation into an attempted break-in at a neighboring home early Saturday morning.

The Hummer was pulled from the pond and brought to the Sheriff's Office for processing.
