Storm Relief Appliance Rebate Money Still Available

Albany, NY (WIBX) - Funding is still available through New York State's Storm Relief Appliance Rebate Program.The program is for residents impacted by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee and includes rebates for new Energy Star refrigerators, clothes washers and dryers and furnaces.

The $8 million rebate program started last week and more than $4 million is still available.

All rebates will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

The rebate program will continue until the funds run out.
