Student Found Injured In SUNY Poly Dorm Room Passes Away

The SUNY Poly student who was found seriously injured in her dorm room on April 8th has died.

Fardush Sultana was a civil engineering student from Hudson, New York.

State Police say Sultana suffered from a medical event that led to her head injuries and determined she was not the victim of a crime.

In a statement, interim college President Grace Wang offered condolences on behalf of the entire SUNY Poly community to Fardush's parents and family.
