The Utica Comets will play a preseason game today at 4 p.m. at the John F. Kennedy Civic Arena in Rome, against the Adirondack Phantoms and the game is sold-out.

“We are extremely excited to be partnering with the City of Rome and to be hosting our only local preseason game at JFK Arena,” said Esche.

The 700-ticket sellout game will serve as a benefit for the Kennedy Arena.

The Comets lost a preseason game at Hershey, 6-0, on Friday night.
