SUNY IT to Host Lego League Championship

More than 30 teams from across upstate New York will be at SUNY I-T in Marcy this Saturday for the college's first Lego League Championship tournament.Elizabeth Rossi, Director of K-through-12 Outreach at SUNY I-T, says teams made up of 9 to 14 year olds will compete with robots they've constructed from Lego Mindstorm kits.

The tournament takes place from 8:45 to 2:30 on Saturday and the public is welcome.

SUNY I-T's robotic championship is one of 100 tournament taking place around the world.
