SUNY Schools Embrace “Systemness”

Canton, NY (WIBX) - Efforts to make the state's college system more efficient are forcing college presidents to embrace what they call "systemness."

Presidents of at least two SUNY colleges, SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam, are joining forces and collaborating on projects and new hires. SUNY Canton President Ronald O'Neill says the measures are "pro-active."

It is a new way of doing business that will hopefully result in cost-cutting that ultimately help all parts of the SUNY system.
