SUNYIT Hosts Solutions Fair For Businesses
Marcy, NY (WIBX) - About 20 small and medium sized manufacturers attended a Solutions Fair at SUNYIT to help grow their businesses.
The fair, sponsored by the Mohawk Valley Applied Technology Corporation, allowed company representatives to meet with other local businesses facing similar problems.
Paul MacEnroe, President of the group, said the fair relies on short one-on-one meetings to offer personalized business assistance, instead of long presentations.
"In this particular case, it's like a guy going into a garage and saying, 'I don't need to know how you tune an engine or how you do anything else. Can you fix my tire,'" MacEnroe said. "That's kind of what we're doing here today."
The Solutions Fairs was held in conjunction with Empire State Development and its Division of Science, Technology and Innovation.
