The 52nd Super Bowl will be played in Minnesota in 2018.

The NFL announced the Twin Cities will host the 'big game' after the Minnesota Vikings new $1 billion dollar stadium is finished in 2016.

It will be just the second time Minnesota has hosted the Super Bowl, dating back to Super Bowl XXVI (26) in 1992, when the Washington Redskins Beat the Buffalo Bills.

The Viking's new stadium beat out the likes of New Orleans and Indianapolis who were the other two finalists.
