CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — Police in central New York are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one person, injured four others and shut down the northbound lanes of an interstate highway for hours.

The driver and three passengers got out of the disabled vehicle. Deputies say an oncoming car hit the disabled vehicle and one of bystanders, who was killed.
