Suspect Charged After Displaying a Smith & Wesson…BB Gun

A Utica man is facing a second degree menacing charge after allegedly pointing a gun at another man.

The victim says he was driving on Genesee Street by the Uptown Theatre when the driver of another vehicle pulled alongside him.  He said the man pointed a gun at him before driving south toward New Hartford.

The victim said he followed the suspect to Cavallo's in New Hartford, where the victim flagged down a New Hartford Police officer.  Utica Police officers were in the area with New Hartford Police.

The suspect has been identified as 32-year old Sebastian DiCesare of Newell Street in Utica.  Police say he was in possession of a Smith and Wesson BB gun.
