ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Federal authorities in western New York say they've captured a man wanted for a fatal Father's Day shooting in Albany.

The U.S. Marshals Service in Rochester says its regional fugitive task force received information that 20-year-old Richard Duckett was possibly staying in the Rochester area with a friend.

The marshals say with the help of state and local police they were able to track down Duckett in nearby Brockport, where he was arrested without incident.

Duckett is wanted by the Albany Police Department in the fatal shooting of 46-year-old Terrance Roberts. Police say Roberts was attending a family barbecue on June 18 when he was shot multiple times.

Duckett was been turned over to Albany police and is being held in Albany County Jail. It couldn't be determined if he has a lawyer.
