Suspect Surrenders After Larceny Video Goes Public

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police officials say the suspect in a February 24th video that was posted on UPD's Facebook, turned himself in to police. The suspect in the surveillance video, which showed the beer larceny at the Culver Ave Nice-N-Easy, was 16 year old Edin Huskic. Police say they received several phone calls with information, and on March 8th the suspect surrendered at police headquarters at the urging of a relative, who saw the video on Facebook. Huskic was charged with Petit Larceny and will answer the charge at a later date in Utica City Court.
