Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man looking to file a police report was arrested at the police station for his alleged involvement in a Christmas Eve shooting.

The shooting took place on the 400 block of James Street.  No one was hurt but several shots were fired at a car.

A suspect was identified by police and while they were looking of him, he walked into the Utica Police station at 5:30 on Christmas night.

45-Year old Donald Billins was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
