Suspicious Tank Found Ahead Of Obama’s Visit
Schenectady, NY (WIBX) - Several blocks surrounding Schenectady City Hall were closed Thursday morning after a suspicious propane tank was discovered near the main post office building, according to the Albany Times Union.
The report says there was also a threatening phone call made today.
The closed roads have since reopened.
President Obama is scheduled to tour a General Electric turbine and generator facility in Schenectady Friday afternoon. He'll be joined U.S. Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand and Representative Paul Tonko.
