Switzerland is raising it’s minimum wage to $50,000!

Switzerland votes on everything. They have referendums every month. One of their next votes will be to raise the minimum wage to the U.S. equivalent of $50,000. They also just passed a referendum this month to decrease CEO salaries from between 32 -to-68 percent. Additionally, they’re looking at another vote that would salary cap a CEO to 12 times what their lowest paid employees make. If they want a raise, they have to give the whole company a proportionate raise.
Currently, New York is contemplating raising the minimum wage to $9 per hour. It’s already passed the Assembly and risks defeat in the Senate.
