Syracuse Advances In NCAA Tournament With Win Over Dayton

Syracuse is moving on in the NCAA College Basketball Tournament.

The Tenth-seeded Orange beat Seventh-seeded Dayton, 70-51 this afternoon in the Midwest Regional in St. Louis.

Syracuse held a 30-28 lead at halftime, but pulled away in the second half for the win.

Malachi Richardson led SU with 21 points and Tyler Roberson had 18 rebounds.

Syracuse will play Middle Tennessee in the round of 32 on Sunday.

The 15-seeded Blue Raiders stunned Second-seeded Michigan State, 90-81.
