Syracuse, NY (WIBX) - A bank robbery in Central New York is making national headlines not for the crime itself but because the robber did something that few can believe.

When 28-year old Arthur Bundrage allegedly robbed the Alliance Bank on James Street in Syracuse he asked the teller for $20,000, which she gave him before calling police.  When he left Bundrage counted the money and discovered that the teller shorted him a few thousand dollars.

He then went back to the bank where Syracuse Police were waiting for him.

The story is making national headlines and more than a few Internet bloggers have said that this bank robber was short more than just a few dollars.
