Syracuse Drops In Latest Top 25 Polls

The Syracuse Orange have slipped a spot or two in the latest national rankings.

'Cuse is ranked eighth in both the AP Top 25 and the USA Coaches Polls. Last week, the Orange were sixth in the AP poll and seventh in the coaches poll.

Over the last week, Syracuse lost to UConn before Brandon Triche's career best 29 points led the Orange to a victory over Seton Hall.

Triche and company will host Providence at the Carrier Dome on Wednesday night, before a conference showdown with No. 11 Georgetown on Saturday - marking the Hoyas final Big East visit to Syracuse.

The top three schools in each poll are Indiana, Miami and Gonzaga.
