Syracuse Hit and Run Victim Dies, Police Looking for White Dodge Dually

Syracuse Police are asking for the public's help finding a pickup truck that may have been involved in a fatal crash over the weekend.

A bicyclist, later identified as 69-year old Erben Vazquez of Syracuse, was hit at the intersection of South Salina and East Colvin Streets on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at about 10:25am.

Vazquez was brought to Upstate Hospital where he later died of his injuries.

The vehicle that struck him is described as a white Dodge super duty dual wheel ("dually") pickup truck pulling a gooseneck car trailer.  After allegedly hitting Vazquez the driver headed eastboud on East Colvin Street.
