Syracuse Man Arrested For Rape

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center says a Syracuse man has been arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year old girl in Utica.

Jacques Yates was arrested at a West Utica home this morning.

Yates was charged with one count of rape.

Authorities says additional charges are likely as the investigation continues.

The victim has been offered counseling through the CAC.
